Definition: In the electronic field,there are many problems to create the matter.they are given a few names in a short.like closed circuit,open circuit,short circuit,leakage circuit etc. Thats why to identify a problems in shorty.generally these four problems are created in all circuits.
Types of circuits: There are many types of circuits in electronics.circuits means a collection of these four alignments in toghether.first battery then suppy mains(positive and negative)terminals,and load in a circuit.see below,
Closed circuit: It is a complete and healthy circuit.In this, a load will safe the circuit and create the close circuit.the load will also off mode.this is called the close circuit.
In this circuit, the batteries positive and nagative terminals are connected to the load.load means for example,a bulb to be used.the bulb is off or fail,so the circuit will automatically close.and this situation to create the close circuit.
Open circuit: See the example,in a circuit the batteries positive and negative terminals connected to the load.the circuit is complete.but when,the positive or negative terminal is disconnect to the load.then the load will go to off mode.that circuit is called a open circuit.the various reasons to disconnect the load.
Sometimes to cut the mains in any resons.wires current handling capacity is a huge reason to open a circuit,then overload in a circuit,that can cause to open a circuit.then the fuse not include in a circuit,these causes to create the problems to open circuits.
Short circuit: Short circuit means the mains positive and negative terminals will connected in any reason.thats called the short circuit.in this case the load will be off mode.there will be the short circuit condition. Ther are many reasons to create a short circuit.
Sometimes,the positive and negative terminals connected in any metal parts.sometimes they are connected in rough handling.sometimes the load will disconnect in a circuit and terminals will open and short.that is a reason to short a circuit.
In a complete circuit,there is no include a fuse in mains supply,so there is create the short circuit,the circuit will damage the source of energy(battery or mains). In this case the circuit will unsafe condition.so involve the fuse in a circuit.for safe and secure circuit.in case the fuse is involved into circuit,there are no chance to damage the circuit and any energy source. sometimes the overload supply to cause the short circuit.
Leakage circuit: In this circuit, the supply mains positive and negative terminals are connected in lequieds,oils and water.there is created the leakage circuit.in case circuit provides low energy to a load.
In this circuit,when the mains positive or negative terminal contact in any water and liquied,the current will ground or drain.thereof the load will automaticaly working in off or low voltage.
In this circuit,the switch is in operation and contact to water and any liquied.there will be same situation.the switch will operate in off mode.because of a leakage circuit.in case we are change the switch.
Sometimes the the insulation of a wires is open or cut,and to create a leakage circuit.various situations to matter a leakage circuit.It will very difficult to verify and solve this problem.
